- DESIRE: Decarbonising energy-intensive industries with renewable synthetic fuels. DESIRE focuses on focused on unlocking the potential of e-fuels through a multidisciplinary approach that integrates experimental, theoretical, and numerical investigations. By addressing key challenges in chemical kinetics, combustion physics, and real-world applications, DESIRE aims to develop cutting-edge digital twin models for next-generation combustion systems. Deadline: 30 April 2025 - UPCYCLE: Upscaling deep conversion routes for hard-to-recycle biogenic waste. UPCYCLE aims at generating a cohort of 15 well-trained young researchers with a unique multi-disciplinary set of skills, not limited to technical ones, with the goal of making them the future research leaders or entrepreneurs capable of bringing forward a paradigm shift in the treatment and valorization of hard-to-recycle biogenic waste.
