Research Interests
My main scientific interests are in the field of combustion processes, specifically focusing on the formation and growth of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) up to soot formation. I am currently working on the development of a detailed kinetic model to predict PAHs formation starting from quantum chemical calculations to evaluate complex kinetic reactivities. I am also interested in the prediction of electro-optical properties of carbonaceous material.
