Research Interests
My research primarily focuses on multiphase flow simulation and the underlying kinetic mechanisms. The primary system under investigation is biomass, a renewable organic material derived from plants and animals.
- I am developing an advanced simulation tool for reacting porous media with a moving interface using the Basilisk framework. This framework provides an efficient and accurate solution to simulate complex multiphase systems, enabling a deeper understanding of mass and heat transfer effects.
- In addition, I am continuously developing a kinetic mechanism for biomass degradation. This involves creating a detailed model of the chemical reactions and physical processes that occur during the breakdown of biomass into lighter compounds.
