Research Interests
My main research interests focus on multiphase flows, numerical modeling of single droplet evaporation, and combustion of liquid carbon e-fuels. My work intends to combine high-fidelity CFD with detailed thermodynamic and chemical-kinetic modeling to capture evaporation, ignition, and early-stage combustion phenomena under engine-relevant conditions. I am currently working on the application of numerical tools for droplet evaporation and combustion with detailed chemistry and heat transfer.
My research interests include:
- Multiphase flow modelling and high-fidelity CFD simulation of droplet dynamics under engine-relevant conditions
- Numerical modelling of single droplet evaporation, incorporating detailed thermodynamic and transport property descriptions
- Combustion of liquid carbon e-fuels, with emphasis on ignition and early-stage flame development
- Integration of detailed chemical-kinetic mechanisms with heat and mass transfer models to capture coupled evaporation-combustion phenomena
